interesting times

Is it just me or does anyone else agree that the only really interesting debate was actually just a conversation /interview by the only non-professional media person: Rick Warren.

I like debates but the last one was a snoozerama (McCain v Obama).

Also is anyone aware of the fact that that congress (and agressive community groups like ACORN that have been forcing the issue at the local level) have been relaxing mortgage standards since the 80's. The Clinton further pursued this by throwing taxpayer money to help and by starting the Mac and Mae loosening of credit standards. republicans were also involved and by the time Bush in 2003 tried to curtail and add some oversight (he was rebuffed by a partisan congressional committees) ; but frankly it was probably too late even then.

What I don't see is any justice. people involved being indicted and going to prison. several legislators were very involved in the mess and are we naive enough to think they are the very ones to help resolve it?

Am I the only one concerned that ACORN has been indicited/suspected/accused of voter registration frausde thought the US and as recently and this current political season. Voter Fraud eats at the heart of a democratic state, and ACORN does this partially with our our own tax dollars and local univeriosty support, some would call it slave student labor. Why is this still condoned?
